Product Update | SmartPad2 Review Completed

XOTHRM has completed a comprehensive internal and third-party engineering review of recent SmartPad2 performance findings. Testing identified a manufacturing anomaly that, in rare cases, could cause an unintended hot spot. The issue involves an electrical connection that passed quality control, and our manufacturing partner has indicated that it is unlikely to be systemic.

The SmartPad2 remains NRTL certified, confirming that each unit was independently tested to meet U.S. and Canadian electrical safety standards for insulation integrity, electrical performance, and overheat protection.

Now that we have a clear understanding of the cause, we’re working closely with our partners to determine the best and fastest way to resolve the issue. Our top priority is ensuring every SmartPad2 performs safely, reliably, and to the standards you expect from XOTHRM.
