A Proactive Product Update
At XOTHRM, product performance and user safety are our highest priorities.
Through continued internal quality testing and review, we identified a potential manufacturing variability that may affect a limited number of SmartPad2 units under certain usage conditions. At this time, we have not identified a widespread safety issue. However, in alignment with our commitment to product excellence and out of an abundance of caution, we are offering a voluntary inspection and performance upgrade program.
Participation is completely complimentary.
Why We’re Taking Action
While not all SmartPad2 units are impacted, we believe proactive evaluation is the right approach.
This program is being implemented:
- As a precautionary measure
- To ensure continued product consistency
- To further optimize performance
- To reinforce our long-term reliability standards
This update does not constitute a recall. SmartPad2 units may continue to be used as directed unless you prefer to participate in the upgrade program.
What Your Upgrade Includes
Each registered SmartPad2 will undergo:
- Comprehensive inspection
- Installation of next-generation heating components
- System recalibration
- Full performance validation
- Final quality assurance testing
The upgraded SmartPad2 will deliver:
- Faster heat ramp-up
- Improved thermal efficiency
- More consistent temperature performance
- Enhanced long-term durability
We view this as an opportunity to further strengthen your device.
How the Process Works
Upgrades will be processed on a rolling, first-come, first-served basis beginning in March.
Step 1 — Register
Submit your information using the registration link below.
Step 2 — Receive Shipping Materials
You will receive:
- A prepaid return shipping label
- A designated return window
Step 3 — Inspection & Upgrade
Once received, your SmartPad2 will be:
- Evaluated
- Upgraded (if applicable)
- Fully tested prior to return shipment
Processing time is up to 10 business days from the date we receive your unit.
