Approved Cleaning Products

To maintain hygiene and protect material integrity, we recommend the following cleaning methods:

Option 1: Approved Disinfectant Wipes

Use only the following disinfectant wipes, tested and approved by XOTHRM engineers:

Amazon® Disinfecting Wipes

Clorox® Disinfecting Wipes

Lysol® Disinfecting Wipes

These products kill germs and bacteria without damaging the SmartPad’s surface, seams, sensors, or embedded components.

⚠️ Using unapproved wipes or harsh cleaners may degrade materials and void your warranty.

Option 2: Mild Soap and Water

You may also clean your SmartPad with a soft cloth dampened with water and mild soap. Gently wipe down the surface, avoiding excess moisture and ensuring no liquid seeps into seams or connectors.

Cleaning Instructions

1. Power Off | Ensure the device is powered off and disconnected from any power source before cleaning.

2. Wipe Down | Gently clean the surface using one of the approved disinfectant wipes listed above.

3. Air Dry | Lay the SmartPad flat, with the bottom cover (sunburst logo) facing up, and allow it to fully air dry.

Do not fold, store, or use the SmartPad while it is damp. Storing a damp SmartPad can lead to degradation of the fabric cover and premature wear.

Storage Guidelines

To keep your SmartPad in optimal condition between uses:

• Store Flat or Folded: Avoid sharp bends, creases, or heavy stacking.

• Keep Dry: Always store your SmartPad completely dry.

• Avoid Heat Sources: Do not store near radiators, space heaters, or direct sunlight for extended periods.

• Protect from Sharp Objects: Do not place the pad where it could be punctured or abraded.

Regular Inspection Checklist

Before and after use, give your SmartPad a quick check:

✓ No visible tears, bubbling, or exposed components

✓ Fabric and seams remain intact

✓No discoloration or residue buildup

✓ Functioning LED indicators and control panel

If you notice any signs of damage, immediately discontinue use and contact XOTHRM Support.
